TRC provided precast engineering for the DC BLOX ATL1-A data center in Douglasville, GA - a large-scale, mission-critical facility designed for continuous, high-demand operations.

The precast system was engineered to support significant structural loads associated with critical power infrastructure, server environments, and support systems, while maintaining the speed and efficiency required for data center construction. With nearly 500,000 square feet of building area, the design leverages precast components to accelerate erection, improve quality control, and streamline coordination across trades.

Given the facility’s 24/7 operational requirements, the precast design prioritizes durability, structural reliability, and long-term performance. Panel layouts, connections, and structural interfaces were carefully coordinated to align with MEP systems, equipment clearances, and phased construction sequencing.
