TRC provided multi-year restoration and inspection services for the 260,000-square-foot Golden Horn Condominium, supporting the long-term performance and modernization of the waterfront residential community.
The engagement began with a 40-year recertification study in 2014, establishing the building’s condition and prioritizing required improvements. Subsequent phases included roof replacement design and inspections (2017), pool restoration (2017), and exterior concrete restoration, stucco repairs, and repainting (2018).
Major structural work focused on extensive concrete rehabilitation and the installation of new glass-railing balcony systems to improve both safety and aesthetics. The project also included replacement of existing windows and sliding doors with hurricane impact-resistant assemblies, full renovation of the canal-facing heated pool and sun deck, and modernization of key building systems including roofing, electrical, and internal plumbing infrastructure.
